Masterclasses with the Mercer-Park Trio
on October 7 or October 8, 2010.

The Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute (SOCMI) invites you and your students to very special concert with the Mercer-Park Trio, October 7 at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Parish Hall 1382 Ontario Street, Burlington or October 8 at St Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 1541 Oakhill Drive, Oakville. Both concerts begin at 8:00 p.m.

The trio comprises multi-award winning musicians, violinist Akemi Mercer, pianist Angela Park and cellist Rachel Mercer. Rachel plays the Stradivarius "Bonjour "cello, built in 1696 and on loan from the Canada Council. The trio will play works by Brahms, Haydn and Ravel. Both Akemi and Rachel are alumnae of SOCMI.

Tickets will be available September 1.
