- participants stay in residence, in a dedicated dormitory with full access to the cafeteria and facilities for rehearsal, concerts and recreation, at Appleby College, a private school situated on 52 acres of beautiful lakeshore property in Oakville, Ontario.

- Oakville is a vibrant town with a thriving arts community located 30 minutes west of Toronto and 60 minutes from the Lewiston Bridge

How to Apply
SOCMI accepts advanced string and piano students who demonstrate the ability to work with standard chamber music repertoire (minimum Royal Conservatory of Music Canada Grade 6 or equivalent) and show enthusiasm for developing themselves further as part of a chamber music ensemble. Adult ensembles are welcome.

- Application filled out in full
- Biography in narrative form (200 words max.)
- Audition - two contrasting pieces (format may be in CD/DVD, MP3 format, or accessible from YouTube)
- $35 Non-refundable registration fee

(includes all instruction, accommodation and meals)

2nd installment: June 30, 2011 $350
3rd installment: July 31, 2011 $250 (on arrival at campus)
